Helping Hand

The Helping Hand Project.

This Initiative aims to provide essential hygiene products to those in need, with a specific focus on the homeless population in Jacksonville, FL. The Helping Hand Project addresses a gap in current resources, as many pantries often do not distribute the necessary products for maintaining proper hygiene among transient individuals. By offering these items, we hope to support the well-being and dignity of those facing homelessness in our community.

On December 25th, 2023, The Helping Hand Project made its debut in the community by distributing 40 hygienic bags to the homeless population in Jacksonville, FL. The bags, consisting of 20 male-centered and 20 female-centered ones, were distributed using brightly colored drawstring backpacks to ensure visibility. Each bag contained essential items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, bar soap, washcloths, deodorant, and socks. The recipients expressed their gratitude for the thoughtful gesture, particularly appreciating the inclusion of socks. The Helping Hand Project aims to continue these monthly distributions with the support of generous individuals like you. Your assistance will make a difference in the lives of those in need.

HELPING HAND GOALS

PROJECT H20

This initiative aims to support families in need by providing cases of water. While local food banks do a fantastic job of addressing hunger in the community, they often lack beverage provisions. Project H2O steps in to fill this important niche by ensuring that families have access to clean and safe drinking water. By focusing on this essential need, Project H2O is making a significant impact on the well-being of the community and helping to ensure that families have the resources they need to thrive.
Our aim is to distribute 100 cases of water to individuals and families in need within Jacksonville, FL each month. Water is a fundamental necessity that plays a crucial role in maintaining health and well-being. By providing this essential resource, we hope to support households and promote a healthy lifestyle among those facing various challenges. Together, we can positively impact and contribute to the overall well-being of those in need.
PROJECT H20 GOALS

This initiative is a tribute to the memory of Guilianna Milagros, a vibrant, sassy, and promising young lady whose name means "youthful miracle." Despite facing numerous challenges and experiencing trauma at a young age, Guilianna's strength and impact on others were undeniable. Her struggles with mental health were significant, but her resilience and influence were even greater. In her honor, we are dedicated to providing the youth of Jacksonville, FL with the necessary support to overcome obstacles and thrive in their lives.

Our goal is to positively impact 100 youth each month through a series of engaging events. These events will include workshops, fun yet educational field trips, and mentorship programs designed to inspire and empower young individuals. Participants will not only learn and grow but can also enjoy meals and takeaways at each event, ensuring that they are nourished both physically and mentally.
